A long chain polyethylene material with same direction alignment to provide excaptional resistance to impact or abrasion. This material has the characteristics of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) with the added traits of being resistant to concentrated acids and alkali.
UHMWPE offer low moisture absorption and is generally ideal for dynamic applications due to low coefficient of friction, high abrasion resistance and self lubricating (boundary lubricating) properties.
