Originally started as ISO 9000:1987 and later revised in 1994 and 2000, the ISO standard became an automotive supplier requirement for all vendors in the mid 90’s and has been progressively updated and accepted by a wider range of industries an indication of a consistent and stable supplier focused on meeting customer needs through process based solutions.
McMasters Koss management embraced the ISO 9000 Quality System as a method of documenting the successful methods and procedures used to meet demanding automotive customer requirements. The Quality Manual and Procedures have become ingrained in how we operate as an organization and plan to meet future customer requirements.
All registered ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems require outside audit and document review to confirm processes and procedures are in place and allow vendors to reduce the scope of their own vendor investigations.
