McMasters Koss provides laboratory testing for rubber elastomers, supporting engineering teams and customers with:

• Hardness testing: Micro Hardness, Shore A and other Rockwell scales for compliance monitoring and analysis.
• Physical property testing: Monitoring and reporting for initial submissions and batch-to-batch compliance.
• Tensile testing: Elongation, tensile strength and modulus at specified elongations, including testing after air aging, fluid aging and ozone exposure to identify material changes.
• ASTM and custom testing: Quoting and testing to most ASTM specifications and customer-defined requirements, backed by extensive OEM testing experience.
• Test fixtures: Standard fixtures for various materials and custom fixture manufacturing as needed.
• Material certification: A2LA, CNLA and TAF certified material results for PPAP submissions. With thousands of Level 3 PPAPs provided to automotive OEMs, we can meet your material certification requirements.

Some services carry fees. Customers may need to supply fluids for testing if we do not have them available.
